Software & Graphics: The graphics on the table are very dark and not easy to see - It's not easy to distinguish who has bet what amount and you have to rely on the options you get when it is your turn to work out how much has been bid. The chat box is separate and all in all very confusing. On the plus side - you can view the Players Flop Average % on each table and how many hands are being player per hour as well as the average pot size. The hand histories give graphical information so you can review your play !
Traffic: Pacific Poker has grown enormously in the last year and now has about 4000 real money players at peak times. The majority of these are playing Texas Hold'em so not many around for Omaha or 7 card stud.
Game Variety: Texas Hold'em - both No Limit and Fixed Limit; Omaha High & Hi-Lo; 7 Card Stud both High & Hi-Lo. They have some very low stakes tables - as little as 5/10 cents and the maximum stakes are $600 in Holdem, $30/$60 in Omaha and $15/$30 in 7 Card stud. They also have Fast tables in the Multi Tournaments.
Rake: Pacific Poker has a "No Flop - No Drop" Rake Policy. This means that Pacific Poker only Rakes the Pot in games which reach the Flop. For Pot Limit & No Limit games the Rake is $0.05 for each $1 in the pot, the maximum ranges from $1 - $3 depending on the amount of players. For Limit games, the Rake varies from 1 cent to a maximum of 6 cents on the 5-10 cent tables - and $1 per $40 pot up to a maximum of $3 on the higher stakes tables.
