Software & Graphics: The
graphics are the easiest and most user-friendly as you can see
how much someone has bet on the table as opposed to most other
Poker Clubs which only list the bet in the chat window. There
are figures seated in the chairs which makes for a better ambience
than other Poker Clubs which just have an empty chair or a dark
box. Female players can request a female persona which leads
to conversation on the table. There can be a number of disconnections,
maybe due to the sheer amount of players on the site.
Traffic: PartyPoker used to boast
the largest amount of traffic over other Poker Clubs regularly
getting over 50,000 users on the site at peak times but this
has dropped off dramatically since they have banned US Players.
If you're looking for Fixed Limit Tournaments - then PartyPoker
probably holds over 70% of all the Online Tournaments in the
world. Also plenty of 7 card stud Tournaments and Omaha.
Game Variety: Texas Hold'em - both
No Limit and Fixed Limit; Omaha High & Hi-Lo; 7 Card Stud
both High & Hi-Lo. PartyPoker does not offer Heads Up matches,
Draw Poker or Crazy Pineapple although they have recently added
BlackJack.
Rake: No-Limit & Pot-Limit:
$.05 per $1 up to a Maximum of $3 - this applies to any size
Buy-In and any number of players. Limit: This ranges from $.05
per $1 up to a Maximum of $1 on the lower limit tables up to
$1 @ $100 then $.50 per $50 up to a Maximum of $5 on the high
limit tables. Tournament Buy-In Entry Fees range from $1 on
the $5 & $10 tables up to $50 & above on the $1,000
and above tables. |
